Ahhh
Y-3 gilet
Ten years ago I went through a major Y-3 phase. I walked around in future-leaning footwear and technical fabrics, thinking I looked . . . I dunno, future-leaning and technical or something. I’ve bequeathed most of my Y-3 belongings to a more fitting demographic since then, but this simple vest remains. My go-to when I’d hike up to Griffith Observatory, and a hero layering piece for traveling.
Double-sided circle necklace
While wandering around Trastevere, I spotted necklaces by a local artist and ended up getting this double-sided piece (two-for-one deal!). I can’t do metal necklaces - they’re too flashy near my face - so I opt for scarves, rope, and leather necklaces. If it befits a dark wizard, all the better.
Loewe Puzzle bag
I need to switch out of this bag soon. Every time I reached inside to find my keys, my airpods, my pen, it was taking way to long and I furiously rummaged in search of items, on the verge of shrieking. Sometimes I envy men who can survive the wild without a bag.
Comme des Garcons taped sneakers
A colleague in the office asked me about these shoes. I explained how I wanted them because they look like I taped them up to keep them from falling apart. He said “Ahhh” but sounded unconvinced.
Johnson Leathers chevron jacket
This guy had his first pairing with my Y-3 gilet. A dream team. Continuing to break him in daily in prep for London.
Anthropologie hat
I noticed something today: the texture of this cap kinda reminds me of spider hair.
