Slim dudes

Zara neckerchief

An impulse purchase, and a questionable one at that. High street faux leather is a risk, but no one’s wardrobe is above a little novelty or kitsch.

Zara layered shirt

I’m traditionally not a fan of Zara shirts; they’re cut for tall, slim dudes and their fabrics feel cheap. But oversized shirts with sleeve detail and clearance pricing are worth a try. Synthetic to a fault, but does the job.

Churro cap

I keep reaching for this one. The hue goes well with my J.Lo glow.

Loewe Puzzle bag

Too much of a rush this morning to switch up the bag. Get that cost per wear down.

Engineered Garments scarf cape

The weather is warming up, so I opted for synthetic shirt (no breathability = warmth) and cape. Engineered Garments scarf capes are a no-brainer in my wardrobe. If I find more in a shop or on the resale market, my no-buy H1 2025 is in serious jeopardy.

JW Anderson buckle shoes

A caped outfit demands shoes that feel on-the-go, maybe even dastardly. Loafers + cape feels wrong, same goes for athletic shoes + cape. But sharp-silhouetted walking shoes with some patent and a hefty serving of snap clasps? The perfect pair to ground today’s outfit.
