A good pastoral

The Blah outfit

Sometimes we overcompensate when battling a dreary start to the week. One of those Mondays where nothing goes your way. Action (and dressing up) is the antidote. That, and ordering Chinese food for dinner.

Reused some of what was worn Sunday out of sheer laziness.

Chanel Portobello flap bag

Sometimes it’s too much of a hassle to switch the contents of your bag from one purse to the next, right men? Still, I think it particularly suited today’s jacket.

Scenic jacket

As much as I’m a city witch at heart, I love a good pastoral print, especially if it could pass for arresting wallpaper. Purchased this from one of the stalls in Spitalfields one cold winter, and have since become a repeat customer of his (he gives you a nice silk scarf tote with purchase).

I like wearing this jacket to high tea. All’s I need’s a fascinator.

Christian Louboutin loafers

These were last worn with a semi-sheer, fuzzy black top, lace bib, chain harness, and a Nigerian date. At a wedding.

The groom’s mother and another relative came up to me on the dance floor and tried grabbing at them. Such is the effect of patent leather and beaded fringe.
