Heart band tee

A trip to San Jose for indulgent food and comfy time on my sister’s couch called for a beloved band tee that I’ve been known to fall asleep in (planes, hotels, my own couch).

As I waited for Berlin at the Renegade Craft Fair last month, I did quick damage by finding this hand-dyed patchwork wrap top. Perfect for the warmer weather, but it came with tedious care instructions that make me a little nervous.

Let it be known: I’m not a fan of the name Bella and its permutations (Belle, Isabella, etc.). Makes me think of girls in foundation and sweats running to Starbucks.

I cannot swap this guy out. He’s become something of a security blanket during this stressful week. The unfinished spongey leather feels appropriate for warmer weather.

And yes, black leather all summer please.

Scuffing these guys up for the coming months. As easy as Target slip-ons, and a much-needed reminder of halcyon days in Tokyo before life fell apart.
