For my lunch date with a dear Dutchman in an old style diner, and I wanted to help bring a little cloudy sunshine to our current week, so I pulled this guy out. He took note of my abundance of color when I arrived. Whether or not it brought him joy is anyone’s guess.

A plain black tee didn’t feel right for the cardigan, so I opted for a little graphic distress. The face on this shirt accurately matches my mood these days.

Kin granny floral socks

Again. I love Kin socks. These £7 granny socks have a murky floral quality that made them stand out from the tray of socks they were in. Sheer when worn, and I love a sheer sock.

Sometimes more is more. In total, today’s look was a smattering of my favorite colors and motifs. I dressed up for the sake of my friend. Went well with a big banana split with a hair in it.
