Provenance
Sunday coffee catchup with Taylor on Washington Street. While she had new job stress and dating updates, I gave her real news: I’m reducing my bag collection.
We’re on for karaoke next month to celebrate my birthday. Need to build a new set list for 2025.
The Waiting in Line Outside for Coffee outfit
Nike waffle sneakers
I almost made the mistake of wearing boots, but thankfully I opted for these low key comfortable shoes. Didn’t realize I’d hike up Nob Hill. These shoes made the steep trek a breeze (and a wheeze).
Hannibal tee
Easygoing Sundays deserve a little cannibalism and questionable psychotherapy. This was on the top pile of tees, no strategic reason as to why I opted to wear this. Maybe the universe is telling me to revisit the series (I own every episode after all).
Churro hat
The texture and color of this cap pairs really nicely with blues, navy, and white. Opted to do something more interesting than a standard black cap.
Prada Brique bag
As Taylor and I discussed which bags I’d sell vs. keep, we looked down at this perfect piece of Prada and agreed this should stay with me to the grave. I’ve never had a bag with such a provenance, nor have I worn another bag in my collection for 2 years straight.
At one point, my brother hinted that he wouldn’t mind taking this bag off of my hands. For a while I considered gifting it to him as a surprise. I’m so glad I didn’t.
Bravo Charlie coat
While it’s stopped raining, the chill factor remains, so I threw this on for the day.
I won’t lie - I was nervous someone would splash coffee on this guy. At one point someone bumped into another person holding a tray of coffee and it spilled everywhere. I would’ve plotzed.
