T-square
Dash dot jacket
Another birthday treat from London, from the Spitalfields stand where I bought quilted pastoral jacket. Ultra comfy and cozy, but the back of my mind worries about running into an artsy lady of a certain age wearing this same topper with red glasses, spiky silver hair, and a T-square sticking out of her Trader Joe’s tote. The type of person who uses “funky” as a compliment. This must never happen. Protect me, Satan.
Prada Brique bag
Simple, so as not to compete with the jacket. While abroad, Syco and I went to Prada on Bond St., and I saw that they reissued the Brique in gray. So tempting, but I showed retraint and walked away. This is what it means to be a responsible aging gay man.
Prada navy / blue loafers
Loafers, drivers, whatever. These weren’t the right shoes for today’s outfit. I knew I’d made a grave mistake on the walk to work, but I had to face the music and deal with my life choices in the office.
