Men of the world: It’s a new age. I implore you to consider the fancy caps on clearance at your local Anthro. Yes, has some tinsel threaded throughout, but at least you’ll give your girlfriend / wife something pretty to look at while you’re regaling her with highlights from your latest golf outing.
Johnson Leathers Type 3 jacket
Special jackets often feature an element of surprise. When I originally had this made, we were going to use a different lining that had more brown and orange. I’m glad they ran short on fabric, as this blue patchwork has delighted its fair share of people (myself included).
Cognomen vest
I lengthened the ties so that they trail closer to my ankle. Still paranoid they’ll get caught in something or stepped on, but YOLO.

The equivalent of M.I.A.’s Galang video in shoe form: war and conflict, with vivid graphics depicting a stat on bomb-related casualties (according to the salesperson).

The fur, the leather jacket, the gloves - together, they required a soft bag with rugged hardware.
Skingraft gloves
I’ve seen Iris Law wear fingerless gloves to great effect, and since she and I are basically twins, I figured I’d give it a go. These LA finds deserve more airtime, but I’m wary of looking like a middle-aged cosplayer or something.
Anthropologie muff
I think of The Little Princess or Russian royalty when I wear this. Purchased that cold December when I moved into my current place. Found in the sales clearance room of the now-defunct downtown Anthro (RIP). Feels even better than it looks.
The afternoon coffee date outfit
Second verse, same as the first - but ditched the fur and swapped the leather jacket out for a full coat.
Zara wool coat
Not a big Zara fan (size exclusive, usually weak construction), but this guy has been a trooper and I got him half off. Wearing it around the city feels like walking around in a blank made of 60% Manteco wool and adorned with brooches (not sure if I’ll keep the square one - keeps looking more and more like a Post-It).
